Megan Nelson

Merging Business Operations with Embodied Healing

Megan Nelson is a bridge-builder at heart — someone who seamlessly integrates structure and soul, systems and service, strategy and deep compassion. With over 25 years of experience spanning executive operations, counseling, and trauma-informed care, Megan is known for creating spaces that are not only safe and effective but deeply human, embodied, and healing. Whether she’s guiding a team, facilitating growth, or supporting someone through a life transition, her leadership is rooted in nervous system awareness, emotional intelligence, and relational depth.

Megan holds a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and began her career supporting individuals healing from brain injuries, navigating chronic conditions, and overcoming systemic barriers to employment. Her early work reflected a somatic and trauma-responsive lens — offering not just behavioral support but true restoration of meaning, dignity, and connection. She has led psychoeducational groups, supported family systems, and helped clients rediscover purpose after disorienting loss, always honoring the body as a site of wisdom and the self as inherently whole.

Alongside her clinical practice, Megan spent more than a decade as a senior leader in the tech industry, shaping culture and operations in high-growth companies like Google, Microsoft, and Confluent. As a Chief of Staff and Program Director, she championed trauma-informed leadership, psychological safety, and systems that center wellbeing. She built teams where nervous system regulation, inclusive practices, and authentic belonging were not just values — but lived experiences. Her unique ability to operationalize healing values while scaling complex organizations is one of her superpowers.

Megan is a certified facilitator of both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI). She uses these tools — and her deep understanding of human systems — to help individuals and teams align with their values, access embodied insight, and lead with clarity and confidence. Her work as a coach and facilitator is described as grounding, empowering, and gently transformative.

Currently completing her certification in Integrative Health & Wellness Coaching at Duke University, Megan is expanding her offerings to support those navigating burnout, identity reconstruction, and emotional fatigue. She is especially passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, their truth, and their capacity for joy — guiding them to live regulated, empowered, and purposeful lives. Her coaching blends neuroscience, somatic practices, and trauma-informed frameworks to support holistic and lasting change.

At The Triangle Healing Center, Megan is both a strategic thought partner and a deeply aligned practitioner. She brings the operational backbone needed for a thriving organization — while staying fully attuned to the center’s mission: to help women heal and live fully empowered lives. Her leadership is grounded in values like embodiment, equity, sustainability, and nervous system healing. Whether designing internal systems or supporting team development, she leads with integrity, heart, and a powerful vision for what’s possible when we heal from the inside out.

Looking ahead, Megan is crafting a career that integrates all aspects of her calling — from trauma-responsive leadership and embodied coaching to values-driven operations and soulful systems building. Her vision is one of integrated, empowered living: where healing is not just relief from symptoms, but a radical reclamation of vitality, alignment, and wholeness.

Wherever you find her — behind the scenes or in direct service — Megan leads with warmth, presence, and a steady hand. Her work is a living reminder that healing isn’t just about what we overcome. It’s about who we become when we return home to ourselves.
